FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Power washing (or pressure washing) is a cleaning technique that uses accelerated water (or pressure) to clean surfaces of dirt and debris. Power washing is especially well suited to hard surfaces like concrete and brick. However, the siding of your house was not designed to withstand the force that results from power washing. Instead, on softer or more delicate surfaces (like home siding or roofing), we use a technique called soft washing. We utilize a chemical application to treat and kill any mold growth and then wash away any residue and dirt with a low-pressure rinse. The pressure of the water is low enough to stick your hand in front of, so there is virtually no danger of it damaging the exterior of your home.
Typically, we advise customers to remove valuables and furniture from porches and near the main structure of the house. However, our techs can move your items as needed for an additional fee. We also require that you provide access to a water source for our use for the duration of the cleaning service.
